Data Availability
Research Data and Supporting Materials
The International Journal of Pharma Studies recognizes the importance of appropriate access to research data and supporting materials in pharmaceutical and healthcare research. Authors should provide a Data Availability Statement where required by the journal's policies, funders, institutions, or applicable research standards.
Data Availability Statement
Where applicable, authors should clearly state how the data supporting their research can be accessed. The statement should indicate whether the data are publicly available, deposited in a suitable repository, available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request, or subject to specific access conditions or restrictions.
For pharmaceutical research, relevant data may include experimental results, analytical measurements, drug formulation data, pharmacological findings, clinical research data, and other materials supporting the study. If data cannot be shared publicly due to patient privacy, confidentiality, ethical approval conditions, intellectual property rights, commercial sensitivity, or other legitimate restrictions, authors should clearly explain the reason and, where possible, describe how access may be requested.
Authors must ensure that clinical, patient-related, and other sensitive research data are shared only in accordance with applicable ethical, legal, privacy, and consent requirements.
Third-Party Data
Authors are responsible for identifying third-party data and materials used in their research. Where third-party material is subject to separate rights or restrictions, authors should obtain permission where required, acknowledge the original source, and follow the applicable licence or access conditions.
Third-party materials may include published datasets, pharmaceutical databases, chemical structures, drug-related information, laboratory resources, clinical trial datasets, images, and other research materials. Such materials should not be presented as being owned by the authors or licensed by the journal when they are not.
Supplementary Materials
Where appropriate, authors may provide supplementary materials to support their research. These may include datasets, additional tables or figures, questionnaires, appendices, detailed experimental methods, analytical protocols, statistical analyses, code, clinical research documentation, and other relevant supporting materials.
Supplementary materials should be clearly identified and cited in the manuscript where appropriate. Authors should ensure that these materials are accurate, relevant, and consistent with the reported findings. Any material subject to separate copyright, confidentiality, ethical, or licensing requirements should also be clearly identified and handled in accordance with the applicable conditions.
Data and Ethical Requirements
Where applicable, the Data Availability Statement should be provided along with other relevant declarations, such as:
For studies involving human participants, patient records, biological samples, clinical trials, or other sensitive research materials, authors must ensure that data collection, storage, sharing, and publication comply with applicable ethical standards and legal requirements. Clinical trial registration and ethics committee approval should be reported where required.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that research data and supporting materials comply with applicable ethical, privacy, confidentiality, copyright, intellectual property, and licensing requirements. Data should be presented accurately and should not be fabricated, falsified, or selectively reported in a manner that misrepresents the research findings.
