Copyright and Licensing

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain copyright in their original scholarly work unless otherwise required by applicable law, funder or institutional requirements, or a separate written agreement.

Publication in the International Journal of Pharma Studies does not transfer copyright ownership from the authors to the journal or its publisher.

License to Publish

Upon acceptance and publication, authors grant the International Journal of Pharma Studies and its publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, distribute, communicate, display, archive, preserve, and maintain the article as part of the scholarly record.

This license also permits the journal to maintain the published Version of Record and associated publication metadata, including the DOI and other persistent identifiers.

The applicable rights and terms should be confirmed through the journal's Publication and Licensing Agreement.

Creative Commons License

Unless otherwise stated, articles published by the International Journal of Pharma Studies are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

CC BY 4.0 permits others to share, reproduce, adapt, and build upon the published work, including for commercial purposes, provided appropriate attribution is given, a link to the license is included, and any changes are indicated.

Text and Data Mining

Where articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 license, they may also be used for text and data mining, including research and analytical applications and the development of computational tools, subject to the same attribution requirements and applicable legal restrictions as any other use under the license.

Users working with pharmaceutical research articles, drug discovery studies, pharmacological data, or other scientific publications remain responsible for respecting applicable privacy, confidentiality, data protection, and third-party rights.

Funder and Institutional Compliance

The CC BY 4.0 license used by the International Journal of Pharma Studies is intended to support common open-access requirements established by research funders and institutions, including those associated with Plan S and similar open-access mandates.

Authors should confirm any specific funder, institutional, or research agreement requirements before submission to ensure that the selected licensing arrangements meet their obligations.

Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for third-party copyrighted material where required.

Third-party material may include figures, tables, photographs, chemical structures, molecular models, clinical illustrations, or other content incorporated into pharmaceutical research articles. Such material may be subject to separate copyright or licensing terms and is not automatically covered by the CC BY 4.0 license.

Appropriate attribution and permission requirements must be observed.

Publication and Licensing Agreement

Upon acceptance, the corresponding author is responsible for completing the applicable Publication and Licensing Agreement of the International Journal of Pharma Studies and confirming that the necessary rights and author approvals have been obtained.

The agreement establishes the applicable copyright and licensing arrangements for publication.

The final article published by the International Journal of Pharma Studies constitutes the Version of Record (VoR) and represents the official published version of the article.
